I had a car that was pretty much junk. After doing some research online, I realized that there are places out there that will give me cash for my junk vehicle in NYC. This was news to me, seeing that I didn’t even know any of this information. That is why the internet is a wonderful place, so that we can find info about whatever you are looking for and it doesn’t even really matter what you are looking for. After reading so many horror stories from people and review after review it has come to my attention that you have to be very careful who you call. I know that there are so many different “cash for junk car” companies. But as I do my research about the different car places, I figure that there are only so many that are even legit.
One thing I noticed about some of these places is that they offered high prices over the phone and then when they showed up they tried to knock a couple hundred dollars off of it. I do not understand how that is even considered good business. Don’t these company owners understand that the internet is full of people that will go on Google places or other places like merchant circle and write reviews about that company? It kind of scares me to call any of these places, knowing that I could be low balled by any of these. But, there are other companies I noticed with excellent reviews stating that what was quoted on the phone is what they gave them when they showed up. One of the things I noticed the most was that a lot of people said that they made sure the quote was guaranteed. That was an excellent idea, I never thought of that. Whatever place I called I would make sure that the quote was guaranteed, if they can’t guarantee the quote than it isn’t worth your time, probably scam artists. Best bet is to just read the reviews, because they speak a thousand words.
I would hate for my car to break down somewhere and not be able to trust any place I call for pickup of my car. Whomever I called I would want to make sure that the reviews were good and that the quotes were 100 percent guaranteed. If you are like me, nobody wants to be cheated or ripped off for something they are just trying to get a decent deal out of. Like I said, if there is any doubt just read and do your research about the different “cash for cars” places in NYC. I know there will be times when you have to use a service like this, if your scrap car is sitting on your property and you are just trying to get rid of it, if you just broke down on the road or highway; whatever the situation these services might be needed. On a final note, I did notice that many of these car services did offer free towing, so that should help with your decision; whatever company you choose to go through.
